God blessed us with 26 children who attended this year’s week-long Vacation Bible School, which had the theme of Gold Rush – Discovering the Rock of Ages! ( an ‘answers in genesis’ VBS program.)
We thank God for the excellent weather and the kids had a great time enjoying both the indoor and outdoor activities.
Each day the children were able to discover God’s word through Bible study, memory verses, songs, skits, crafts, games and even snacks. The children also watched a video drama entitled “The Gospel Comes To Discover City” which was serialized and shown each day.
Our service project enabled us to collect a generous amount of school supplies which was donated to the needy kids in Hartford through the ministry of the Hartford City Mission.
